How does Puraclenz protect against viruses?
Puraclenz Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO) uses a light-powered chemical process to generate a continuous army of ions to proactively break down pollutants outside of the purifier – mid-air, on surfaces and fabrics. It can get to those hard-to-reach places that other filtration technologies simply can’t.
How often do I need to replace the filter?
The Pre-Filter needs to be replaced or washed every 6-7 months depending on the air quality of the installation space. This time duration assumes 24/7 continuous use. Photon purifiers include an indicator light that automatically notifies the user when to change or wash the Pre-Filter. It is easy to replace the Pre-Filter in less than a minute. Each model R0001 includes one year supply of 2 Pre-Filters.
What’s the difference between the Photon and Core models?
Photon purifies air and exposed surfaces using our patented, ozone-free PCO process. Photon
uses a compact
and lightweight design that can be placed on a table and mounted on a wall or ceiling.
Photon does not
require regular HEPA filter replacement.
Core also uses PCO purification, but adds True HEPA, activated carbon and UV-C germicidal
technologies
that remove the widest range of pollutants. Core’s HEPA filters should be replaced every 6
months or
sooner.
Does using a Puraclenz air purifier negatively impact the ozone layer?
Not at all, the air that leaves our purifiers is certified ozone-free and is laboratory tested not produce VOC by-products or ultrafine particles.
